Titled “Elegy - Chapter I”, the band’s early (promo, rehearsal or studio) demos “Euthanasia” (1989), “The Immortal Rehearsals” (1990), “kur-nu-gi-a” (1990), “The Dead” (1990) and “Dead But Dreaming” (1991) were hearsed from the cemetary to the mortuary for reanimation by songwriter\u002Ffrontman\u002Fproducer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath). All five demos have been remastered by Swanö, with the 13 tracks of “Euthanasia”, “kur-nu-gi-a” and “The Dead” also receiving necromantic remixes for the bonus disc. Featuring a brand-new, hand-drawn cover by visual artist Mark Rudolph (Carcass, Undeath), “Elegy - Chapter I” is by the old guard for all guards to relive or unearth afresh.
