De naam van het album komt van Zaz' echte naam Isabelle en zet de toon voor haar persoonlijke plaat. Na het duizelingwekkende succes van haar wereldhit 'Je Veux' in 2010, beleefde Zaz een hectisch decennium van uitverkochte tours, onderscheidingen en een resem prestigieuze samenwerkingen (Quincy Jones, Charles Aznavour, Kelly Clarkson...). Toen de wereld begin 2020 in lockdown ging, bleek dit dan ook een welgekomen inspiratiebron voor nieuwe muziek. "I needed to be more calm, to almost withdraw. This isn’t at all what I’ve done these last ten years; it’s a paradox,” lacht de zangeres.
