Inspired by classical music, free jazz and drone rock the two classically \ntrained brothers Benjamin and Guillaume Colin have been creating lo-fi experimental doomy post-rock \nepics in the vein of Year Of No Light, Dirge and Omega Massif since 2016. \n“WuW is the sound wind makes when it blows on a hot night”, explains the band; “It’s a low-end \nmurmur that grabs you by the guts, a blast of air rushing through the mountains and the oceans”. Their \nupcoming third album “L’Orchaostre” is an anthem to a very restless journey, an impressive \ninstrumental five-part doom symphony that creates a shroud of oppressive atmospheres with only a \npinch of light. \nThe two brothers slowly build their epic compositions to sound like a massive wall of sound often \npropelled by gargantuan riffs. Albeit just a duo, the way they march through the different parts, WuW \nreally appears as an orchestra on records.
