Rum Bar Records proudly presents 30 Years of Goofballs: 25 tracks featuring their classic debut album, catalog retrospective, and unreleased material — all remastered by the legendary Kurt Bloch to celebrate this joyous occasion.

The Kowalskis began in 1995 in NYC as “Killer Kowalski,” until a cease-and-desist from the wrestler prompted a name change. A fixture of the NYC punk scene, especially at Coney Island High, their album All Hopped Up On Goofballs is a true classic.

Blending punk rock energy with '60s pop flair, their sound draws comparisons to Blondie and The Ramones, channeling a nostalgic yet fresh take on punk with power-pop sensibilities. Fronted by Kitty Kowalski, whom Kim Fowley once called “Courtney Love without the damage,” the band has shared stages with Iggy Pop, Ramones, Undertones, The Muffs, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and many more.
