A Blaze Of Feathers is the brainchild of Mickey Smith, an award winning film director and long term guitarist and collaborator with Ben Howard, who features here on guitar. This debut album is the first release on Ben Howard’s new label Hell Up Records and sees him and his band explore the songs of Mickey who hails from Cornwall and delves deep into the both calm and rough nature of that county through ethereal songs that remind of Pink Floyd and Sigur Rós.
