Aakhri Khat - Khayyam Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1967 Odeon pressing of Khayyam’s Aakhri Khat has that unmistakable old-Hindi-film warmth – the kind you just don’t get on reissues. The record itself plays Very Good, with grooves that still carry rich strings, gentle percussion, and those tender vocals without the usual swamp of distortion you hear on tired copies. The cover has seen better days – graded Poor, with visible wear and aging – but that only adds a bit of cinema-hall lobby charm from another era.

If you’ve been hunting for a playable, honest copy of this soundtrack rather than a museum piece, this LP hits the sweet spot: strong sonics at a collector-friendly price. Spin it on a quiet evening, let the room fill with 60s Hindi film romance, and you’ll see why Khayyam’s work still gets whispered about by serious soundtrack fans.
