Abhilasha - R. D. Burman Used Vinyl LP Record

R. D. Burman in 1968, still sharpening his claws, already rewriting Hindi film sound. This original Odeon pressing of “Abhilasha” catches him in that restless, fearless phase—lush strings sitting next to playful rhythm twists, melodies that linger long after the needle lifts.

The LP itself plays in Very Good Minus, with that slightly lived-in warmth collectors secretly love: a few soft crackles between tracks, strong playback once the music kicks in. The cover, though, has clearly seen years of handling and is in Poor condition—worn edges, heavy ringwear, the kind of sleeve that’s probably watched dozens of family gatherings.

If you’re building a Burman shelf or filling a late‑60s Hindi soundtrack gap, this is one of those titles that quietly makes the collection feel serious. It’s not a mint museum piece, it’s a record that’s actually been played—and wants to be played again. Buy Abhilasha vinyl LP in Very Good Minus condition Today!
