Aftertones - Janis Ian Used Vinyl LP Record

Janis Ian’s 1975 gem “Aftertones” feels like a late–night confession committed to tape — honest, hushed, and razor–sharp. This original Columbia LP spins in Very Good Plus shape, with the kind of quiet surfaces that let her voice sit right in the room with you. The cover is also Very Good Plus, still crisp with just the light wear that says it’s been loved, not abused.

Side A eases you in with beautifully arranged songs that reward an unhurried listen; flip it over and the writing cuts even deeper, with small details in the arrangements that only really show up on vinyl. If you grew up with Janis Ian, this feels like opening an old diary. If you’re new to her, it’s a perfect entry point into her most intimate work.

For collectors building a thoughtful ’70s singer–songwriter shelf, this is one that quietly outclasses a lot of better–known titles. Buy Aftertones vinyl LP in Very Good Plus condition Today!
