Albedo 0.39 - Vangelis - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Released in 1976, Vangelis’ 'Albedo 0.39' is a landmark in electronic music, encapsulating the awe and curiosity of the space age. The album’s title refers to the reflective property of Earth, setting the stage for a suite of tracks that evoke the grandeur and mystery of the cosmos. With his signature blend of analog synthesizers and organic textures, Vangelis creates soundscapes that are both cinematic and deeply human. Pieces like 'Pulstar' and 'Alpha' pulse with energy and inventiveness, while more contemplative tracks invite you to drift weightlessly among the stars. Unlike the cold detachment often associated with electronic music, Vangelis infuses every moment with warmth and emotion, bridging the gap between technology and soul. For collectors, this album is not just an artifact of '70s innovation but a touchstone for the entire genre—its influence can be felt in countless soundtracks and contemporary works. 'Albedo 0.39' rewards attentive listening, revealing new details with every spin. It’s essential for anyone who appreciates music that seeks to explore new frontiers, both sonically and imaginatively.
