Amar Shakti = अमर शक्ति - Laxmikant-Pyarelal Used Vinyl LP Record

Late‑70s Bollywood drama the way it was meant to sound: a little hiss, a lot of heart, and Laxmikant–Pyarelal in full cinematic swing. This original 1978 Polydor pressing of “Amar Shakti = अमर शक्ति” still plays strong in Very Good Minus, with that warm, lived‑in groove you only get from a well‑kept record that’s actually been loved. The cover has taken some hits over the decades (graded Poor), but that worn sleeve feels like a prop straight out of a single‑screen theatre lobby. Spin it and you’re back to a time of bold strings, soaring melodies and unapologetically grand arrangements that fill the room, even at low volume. If you collect Hindi soundtracks or just want a real piece of Bombay film music history—labels, ringwear and all—this one earns its shelf space.
