Anand / Namak Haraam / Mere Apne - Various Used Audio Cassette

Three heavyweights on a single spool: Anand, Namak Haraam and Mere Apne, gathered like an old friends’ reunion in your tape deck. The cassette plays in solid Very Good Minus shape—clean sound with that gentle analog grain that makes R.D. Burman and Salil Chowdhury melodies feel warm instead of clinical. The cover has lived a tougher life (firmly in Poor condition), but that just makes it look like it’s actually seen the ‘70s it celebrates. Side by side, these soundtracks trace a certain Bombay mood: tender, political, bittersweet, sometimes quietly rebellious. It’s the kind of tape you put on when you want Lata, Kishore and Mukesh to fill the room, not your streaming app. If you grew up with HMV spines lined up on a shelf—or wish you had—this is a small, plastic time capsule worth rewinding for.
