Why Another Seven Symphonies? Was it because we had previously released the album The Seven Symphonies, a classical tribute to Beach Boys music, or was it because so many others have made an attempt to cover Beatles music with a symphonic orchestra?Well, both are actually true.After the release of The Seven Symphonies in March 2022, we decided to have a go at Beatles music with the same view and principles, albeit that there are huge differences between Beatles and Beach Boys music. It has taken us two years to complete this album, using 39 different Bealtes songs divided over 7 symphonies. Obviously, the challenges were very different from the start. Apart from the differences in musical style between the two bands, Beatles songs are generally more well known so there are less if no hidden treasures. What remained unchanged is that we took the symphonic potential of the song as basis and not it’s position in the charts.We are not the first ones trying to cover Beatles music with a symphonic orchestra and we won’t be the last ones either. Where we distinguish ourselves is that we stuck to a full symphonic orchestra without the use of any rhythm section, nor any vocal assistance. We are not covering songs but created symphonies to do justice to the unforgettable tunes which the band created on so many albums in such a short time, thereby preserving their music in a different fashion for generations ahead.
