Baithoki mejaj a - Ramkumar Chatterjee Used Vinyl LP Record

Ramkumar Chatterjee’s 1984 LP “Baithoki mejaj a” feels like a late-night addaa captured on tape – unhurried, earthy, and soaked in old Kolkata charm. Pressed on an original EMI Bengali vinyl LP, this copy sits in Very Good Minus record condition, with light surface marks but still plenty of warm, room-filling sound. The cover is also Very Good Minus: some age on the edges, yet that classic 80s EMI artwork still holds its quiet pride on the shelf.

Spin it and you get that intimate baithak feel – the kind of voice that sounds like it’s a few feet away, harmonium breathing behind it, the past gently humming along. It’s the sort of record you pull out when the city finally quiets down and you’re in the mood for stories set to melody.

If you’ve been shaping a serious Bengali vinyl corner, this is one of those titles that says you know your way around the old masters. Buy Baithoki mejaj a vinyl LP in Very Good Minus condition Today! It doesn’t turn up often in this shape, and when it’s gone, it’s usually gone for a good long while.
