Chantal Chamberland – Temptation 180g Vinyl 2LP - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

Chantal Chamberland’s “Temptation” is the kind of record that makes you dim the lights before the needle even drops. Her hushed, smoky alto leans in close, turning familiar songs into intimate confessions rather than mere covers. This 180g 2LP pressing gives her voice and the accompanying jazz ensemble the space they deserve: upright bass has real body, brushes on snare feel tactile, and the guitar lines glow with a late-night warmth.

Chamberland has long been a favorite among vocal‑jazz devotees and audiophiles, and “Temptation” shows why. She doesn’t overpower the material; she seduces it slowly, shaping each phrase with a careful, unhurried touch. Standards and pop classics are reimagined as candlelit jazz, stitched together by a sense of quiet drama and emotional restraint that makes repeated listens rewarding.

On vinyl, the album’s pacing comes into sharp focus. Side breaks feel like natural pauses in a private set at a small club, inviting you to flip the record and sink deeper into the mood. If your shelves lean toward late‑night jazz, vocal elegance, and records that sound best with a glass poured, this 180g edition of “Temptation” earns a permanent place in rotation.
