Classical Encounters: A Live Experience With Ganasaraswati Kishori Amomkar - 2 - Kishori Amonkar Used Audio CD

Recorded in 1996 for BMG Crescendo, this 2-CD set catches Kishori Amonkar in full concert flight—unhurried, fearless, and utterly locked into every note. The raags stretch and breathe, tanpura humming like a low lantern in the back of the room, while her taans cut through with that unmistakable Amonkar intensity. The discs themselves are in Very Good recordCondition, playing clean with only light signs of careful use, while the case and booklet sit at a solid Very Good Minus coverCondition—gently aged, like a well-read music diary. For anyone who treasures live Indian classical recordings, this isn’t background music; it’s the kind of performance you set aside an evening for. If you’ve been waiting to add a serious Kishori document to your shelf, this is the one to snag before it disappears into another collector’s stash.
