Cold Spring Harbor - Billy Joel - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Before 'Piano Man' turned Billy Joel into a household name, there was 'Cold Spring Harbor'—his 1971 debut and a record that reveals the roots of a singular voice in American songwriting. Named after a serene Long Island village, the album brims with introspection and vulnerable storytelling. Tracks like “She’s Got a Way” and “Everybody Loves You Now” showcase Joel’s gift for melody and his knack for capturing the bittersweet nuances of everyday life. The production’s slightly off-kilter pitch—an infamous quirk of its original release—gives these songs an almost otherworldly charm, making the album a favorite among discerning collectors. ‘Cold Spring Harbor’ is more than a historical footnote; it’s a window into an artist finding his footing, unvarnished and earnest. For vinyl enthusiasts and Billy Joel devotees alike, owning this album is a chance to witness the beginning of a storied career—one that would soon shape the landscape of American rock and pop. This pressing is not just a collector’s item; it’s an invitation to revisit the start of a remarkable musical journey.
