Charo’s 1977 “Cuchi-Cuchi” is pure glitter-floor mischief pressed into wax. Salsoul’s trademark Latin-disco punch is all over this LP—bright percussion, playful horns, and that unmistakable Charo flair that turns any living room into a tiny, overconfident nightclub. The record itself spins in Very Good Minus shape: a few light marks, but still lively, loud, and nicely balanced once the needle settles in. The cover, though, is in Poor condition—worn edges, heavy ringwear, maybe a split seam or two—but it has that battle-scarred charm of a record that’s clearly seen a few wild parties already.
