Klas Anders Haglund plays Hardangerfela & fiddle. 'There is something evocative about the forests, the valleys, the lakes, and the bluish ridgelines that make up the Finnskogen region, in the borderland between Värmland and Hedmark. Having grown up near it, “Finnskogen” has been a concept I’ve carried with me since childhood. Now, as an adult, it is the music and dance from the area that fascinate me and occupy a large part of my musical practice. In my solo album Dance at Tjura, I have mainly chosen repertoire from this region.
