Depeche Mode – Songs Of Faith And Devotion 180 G - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

“Songs Of Faith And Devotion” captures Depeche Mode at a volatile, inspired turning point. Coming off the global success of “Violator,” the band leans hard into guitars, live drums, and gospel-inflected backing vocals without abandoning their electronic DNA. The result is a dense, bruised, and deeply human record that still feels startlingly modern.

This 180 g pressing gives the album the physical weight it deserves. Tracks like “I Feel You” and “Walking In My Shoes” hit with a gritty, saturated punch, while “Condemnation” and “In Your Room” reveal a spiritual ache that vinyl brings into sharper focus—Dave Gahan’s voice sounds less like a studio construct and more like a confession in real time.

Historically, the album marks the moment Depeche Mode stepped fully out of the synth-pop shadow and into something darker and more devotional, influencing waves of alternative rock and electronic artists that followed. For collectors, this is the kind of record that anchors a shelf: a beautifully conflicted document of faith, doubt, desire, and damage. If you want Depeche Mode at their most intense and soul-baring, this heavyweight edition is the way to live with the album, not just listen to it.
