Dharam Karam - R. D. Burman Used Vinyl LP Record

R.D. Burman’s Dharam Karam isn’t just another 70s Bollywood soundtrack; it’s that smoky-theatre, single-screen India pressed into one LP. From lush string sections to those unmistakable Burman basslines, this 1975 His Master’s Voice pressing still has plenty of life left in its grooves. The record sits in Very Good Minus condition, with light surface marks typical of a well-played classic, but nothing that stops the songs from shining. The cover is also Very Good Minus: some aging, a bit of edge wear, but the original artwork still looks proudly retro on a shelf. If you grew up on Raj Kapoor films or you’re building a serious R.D. Burman section, this is one of those soundtracks that quietly becomes a favourite. Play it on a relaxed evening and you’ll understand why collectors keep coming back to mid-70s HMV titles.
