Diary Of A Common Thread - Johannes Schmoeling - Audio CD (Arrives in 20 days)

Ex-Tangerine Dream keyboardist and current S.A.W. member with a 2017 studio album of melodic, instrumental synth music!

“Diary Of A Common Thread” is a beautifully symphonic, vibrant, dramatic, descriptive, mind-picture painting work from the ex-TD keyboardist. This guy really is one of a kind and his music is unique among so many others in the German electronic music field today.

Schmoelling's striking synthesizer melodies, both attacking and sublimely majestic, soar well up-front in the well-structured, panoramic themes on display. The melodic structure of many of these tracks is often reminiscent of his time playing with Tangerine Dream, being as equally attention grabbing now as it was back then - and at times there is even a feel of Vangelis to much of the music!

At just under forty minutes, "Diary Of A Common Thread" is not as long as the average electronic music CD these days, but each and every minute is pure quality! This album is packed with listening pleasure and is indeed another superb piece of work from the maestro.
