Although it was recorded in 1961, this recordings has the power to transport one back in time to the smoky room at Village Gate where one feels the raw energy of the live performance.” It brings the Quintet into a highly explosive and velocity-driven standard in world class which makes this brilliant classic album quite a spellbinding hit.
