Trond Svendsen & Tuxedo is ready to release their third album. “Don´t Trust The Moon” was recorded at the legendary Norwegian studio Athletic Sound in Halden during the pandemic, and will be published on Grappa´s Blue Mood Records. Alongside with the arrival of the pandemic, Trond’s writers-lock disappeared. Suddenly several tracks appeared out of nowhere. Trond explains that as soon as restrictions made it possible to meet for rehearsal the band worked through Svendsen´s material, who wrote the lyrics and music. The tracks though are also arranged in close cooperation with the other band members. From classic heartland rock to darker country-waltz. Trond Svendsen brings the listener along on a journey, with his soft and warm voice. The listening experience evolves from being heartfelt, to a literal experience of being on a road trip along the open roads. A dynamic record that represents the very best the group can offer!
