Elton John - Elton John - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Released in 1970, 'Elton John' is far more than a sophomore effort—it’s the record that introduced the world to the soaring artistry of Elton John and his lifelong lyricist partner, Bernie Taupin. Featuring 'Your Song,' a ballad that quickly became part of the global pop canon, the album is a showcase of sweeping orchestration, introspective songwriting, and a new kind of vulnerability in pop music. From the haunting drama of 'Sixty Years On' to the gospel-tinged 'Border Song,' Elton crafts each track with a cinematic sense of storytelling and melodic invention. This self-titled album marked the beginning of an unparalleled run of creativity and established Elton as a master of both flamboyance and emotional intimacy. For collectors, this record isn’t simply a snapshot of a rising star—it’s a blueprint for an era when pop music dared to be bold, sincere, and orchestral. Owning this album is owning a piece of the moment when Elton John became a household name, and when pop music found a new, heartfelt voice.
