Evolution is the debut album of Swedish hammond organ jazz trio DigDogDo. The trio, consisting of organist Simon Jonsson, guitarist Tobias Grim and drummer Ossian Ward, shows melodic and rhythmic strength on their first release featuring original compositions only. All three band members are highly sought-after musicians residing in Gothenburg. The music is powerful, dynamic, groovy and inventive - a strong first statement from a group continuing and renewing the tradition of the organ trio format.
