Film Hits Of Mehdi Hassan - Mehdi Hassan Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1978 His Master’s Voice pressing of “Film Hits Of Mehdi Hassan” feels like opening an old tin box of letters you thought you’d lost. The record is in Very Good Plus shape, with just light signs of play, so Mehdi Hassan’s voice comes through rich and steady, that unmistakable blend of velvet and ache. The cover sits at Very Good, showing honest shelf wear that suits a late‑70s Hindi film ghazal collection. Spin it and you’re back in an age of dim cinema halls, analog microphones, and arrangements that leave plenty of space for his slow, unhurried phrasing. This is the kind of LP you keep for quiet nights, for guests who really listen, or for that one corner of your shelf reserved for timeless ghazals.
