'Four' & More - Recorded Live In Concert - Miles Davis - Audio CD - Pre Owned CDs (Arrives in 14days)

'Four' & More - Recorded Live In Concert captures Miles Davis and his iconic quintet in full flight at Lincoln Center in 1964. This is not the cool, reserved Miles of earlier years; here, he’s a force of nature, leading a group of future jazz legends—Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Tony Williams, and George Coleman—through some of his most electrifying interpretations. The set list, including the breakneck title track "Four," the sharp-edged “So What,” and a blistering “Seven Steps to Heaven,” brims with tension and kinetic interplay. Each musician pushes the others into uncharted territory, laying the groundwork for the next wave of jazz innovation. The recording’s brisk tempos and urgent improvisations make it a touchstone for jazz collectors, but it’s also a thrilling listen for anyone drawn to music that feels both historic and alive. For vinyl enthusiasts, this album is more than an artifact—it’s a living document of a band on the cusp of transformation, challenging conventions and redefining jazz in real time. If you crave the sound of artists on the razor’s edge, this album belongs in your collection.
