That live recital forms the basis of this recording by a musical partnership established at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland. It offers two works by Chopin, his Sonata in A Major and Polonaise brillante in C Major, and Franck’s Sonata in A Major, a transcription of the Belgian composer’s glorious violin sonata.
