SPECIAL RECORD STORE DAY RELEASE FEATURING PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED STUDIO RECORDINGS, PRESENTED ON COKE BOTTLE GREEN 10” VINYL The Pretty Things were one of the earliest and most influential bands to emerge from the British R&B and rock underground of the 1960s, with a career spanning several decades and encompassing garage rock, psychedelia and later experimental studio work. Founded by Dick Taylor following his departure from The Rolling Stones, the band remained a cult presence with a strong artistic identity throughout its long history. This Record Store Day release presents four studio recordings that were originally left unfinished and have now been recently completed. Conceived as a tribute by founder member Dick Taylor, the release honours the late vocalist Phil May and the band’s longstanding manager and producer Mark St John. Issued on coke-bottle coloured vinyl, the 10” format documents the band’s final creative period and later studio output.
