Ghazals From The Films (The Love Songs Of Talat Mahmood) - Talat Mahmood Used Vinyl LP Record

Slow the room down with Talat Mahmood at his most tender. “Ghazals From The Films (The Love Songs Of Talat Mahmood)” gathers his most melting Hindi film ghazals on a single 33 RPM LP, pressed on a record that still plays in Very Good shape—clean surfaces, only light wear, and that lovely early‑60s analog warmth. The Angel Record pressing lends his velvet voice a soft halo, while the orchestra sits slightly behind him, just as it should for late‑night listening.

The sleeve sits at Very Good Minus: some age, gentle edge wear, and that faintly faded charm you only see on records that have actually lived on a shelf since the early 1960s. It feels like pulling a favorite from an elder’s collection, not a museum piece. If you collect classic Hindi film music, or you’re hunting for Talat beyond the usual hits compilations, this is one of those titles that quietly anchors a shelf.
