Ghoom Bhangar Gaan (Bengali Choral) - Salil Chowdhury Used Vinyl LP Record

Salil Chowdhury conducting Bengali choral work in 1981, cut by EMI India, is not something you bump into every day. This LP feels like a small crowd of voices gathered in your living room, weaving protest, poetry, and folk roots into tightly arranged harmonies that still sound remarkably fresh.

The record condition is Very Good Minus, with some light surface wear but plenty of life in the grooves; expect a touch of crackle between tracks, not a noisy mess. The cover is also Very Good Minus, showing honest shelf wear yet retaining its vintage charm and original artwork.

If you love Bengali music beyond film songs—especially arrangements where voices move like an orchestra—this is a rewarding listen and a quietly important piece of Indian vinyl history.
