Golden Hits - Shamshad Begum Used Vinyl LP Record

Shamshad Begum’s voice has that old Bombay glow—bright, fearless, and a little raw around the edges in the best way. This 1970 Odeon pressing of “Golden Hits” gathers her standout Hindi film songs on a single LP that still plays with solid clarity in Very Good Minus condition. Expect light surface noise in quiet spots, but the vocals cut through beautifully and the rhythm section still has punch.

The cover’s seen a hard life—graded Poor with heavy wear and likely splits—yet it somehow suits the age of the music, like a poster salvaged from the back wall of a single-screen cinema. For collectors who care more about sound and history than perfect sleeves, this is a lovely, budget-friendly way to bring her legendary songs back into the room.

Spin it on a quiet evening, let the needle settle, and it’s suddenly 1960s radio again. Buy Golden Hits vinyl LP in Very Good Minus condition Today!
