Hawks & Doves = タカ派とハト派 - Neil Young - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Neil Young’s 'Hawks & Doves = タカ派とハト派' stands as a compelling snapshot of his restless artistry at the dawn of the 1980s. Divided between introspective, previously unreleased tracks from the mid-70s and crisp, country-tinged tunes recorded in 1980, the album gracefully straddles two distinct eras of Young’s songwriting. Side one’s earthy, melancholic ballads—some written amidst the uncertainty of post-Vietnam America—invite listeners into Young’s intimate world, while side two shifts gears with spirited, rural rock that brims with wry social commentary and subtle optimism. This juxtaposition of moods and styles makes the album a fascinating listen; it’s both a reflection on American identity and a personal meditation on change. For vinyl collectors, this release offers a tactile connection to Neil Young’s evolving sound, capturing the raw edges and warmth of his voice and guitar in analog form. Whether you’re a longtime devotee or discovering his work anew, 'Hawks & Doves' is a nuanced, essential addition to any rock collection, delivering both familiar comfort and fresh perspective with every spin.
