Heavy - The Stylistics Used Vinyl LP Record

This original 1974 Avco pressing of “Heavy” finds The Stylistics right in their sweet spot—lush harmonies, bittersweet lyrics, and arrangements that sound like late-night city lights. The vinyl sits in Very Good Minus condition: some visible marks and a bit of surface noise between tracks, but the music still flows with that warm, familiar analog glow. The cover is also Very Good Minus, showing light ringwear and edge scuffs that feel more like the record’s travel history than flaws. If you’re building a real-world soul shelf—one that actually gets played, not just framed—this is the kind of copy you reach for on a quiet evening when the room needs strings, falsetto, and a little grown-up emotion. Original ’70s soul LPs by The Stylistics don’t linger long in playable, affordable shape. If you’ve been waiting to give this album a proper home on your turntable, don’t overthink it.
