Ravi ShankarRavi Shankar was an Indian sitar virtuoso and composer who became perhaps the most internationally recognized ambassador of Hindustani…View all Ravi Shankar recordsRavi Shankar on Apple Records, live in 1972, is the kind of record that quietly takes over your evening. The sitar lines feel unhurried yet razor sharp, and this pressing still carries that warm, slightly smoky concert-hall air that digital versions flatten out. The vinyl itself is in Very Good condition, with clean playback and only light surface signs from careful use. The sleeve sits at a solid Very Good Minus: some age on the edges, but the iconic Apple-era artwork still looks proud on a shelf.
This is a lovely intersection of Beatles-history collecting and serious Indian Classical listening—an album that feels equally at home next to rock classics or a focused late-night raga stack. If you’ve been waiting to add a real-deal early-70s Shankar live set to your turntable rotation, this copy earns its place. Buy In Concert 1972 vinyl LP in Very Good condition Today!
