In Concert - Mehdi Hassan Used Vinyl LP Record

Here’s Mehdi Hassan at his most intimate: a 1978 His Master's Voice double LP that feels like the front row of a smoky late-night mehfil. This Hindi ghazal set, “In Concert,” captures the tiny pauses, the breath between words, and the crowd’s quiet approval in a way studio albums rarely manage.

The vinyl itself sits in Very Good Plus condition, with clean playback and only light surface signs that it’s actually lived a life on a real turntable. The gatefold cover is Very Good, showing honest shelf wear yet still proudly framing Hassan’s classic portrait and original HMV design.

Spin this at 33 RPM and let the harmonium, tabla, and Hassan’s voice unfold slowly across four sides—it’s the kind of record that rewards sitting still and letting the room go soft. A worthy pick for ghazal collectors and anyone who wants live music that feels like a quiet conversation at midnight.
