Itihaas - R. D. Burman Used Vinyl LP Record

R. D. Burman in 1986 still sounded three steps ahead of everyone else, and this “Itihaas” LP is proof on black wax. Pressed on Music India, this single LP spins at 33 RPM with that warm, slightly gritty analog texture you only get from an older Hindi soundtrack in honest, lived‑in shape.

Both record and cover sit in Very Good Minus: a few hairlines and light marks, some age on the sleeve, but nothing that stops the music or the charm. It’s the kind of copy you actually play, not just frame.

The arrangements carry Pancham’s trademark swing—Hindi melodies threaded with unexpected turns, clever rhythm work, and those small background details that reward a proper listen. If you’re building a serious R. D. Burman shelf, or you grew up hearing these tunes on a mono turntable in the next room, this fills that nostalgic gap nicely.
