J.b. Le Picard Organ O... - Paul Van Hooff - Audio CD (Arrives in 50 days)

To mark the 900th anniversary of Vlierbeek, I was asked to produce a CD featuring the Jean-Baptiste Le Picard organ from around 1737. For the CD program, I could have explored established themes, such as French Baroque music on this French-oriented organ. However, I found it more interesting to explore local music. I discovered and appreciated this music during my research in libraries and online. My research focuses primarily on the musical heritage of the 18th-century Southern Netherlands, including composers such as Matthias Vanden Gheyn, Franciscus Krafft, Dieudonné Raick, and Joannes Jacobus Robson. Their preserved scores and manuscripts lie dormant in various libraries.
