Jeff Buckley – Grace (CD) - Brand New - Audio CD (Quick Ship)

“Grace” is the only completed studio album Jeff Buckley released in his lifetime, and it has grown into one of the most quietly influential records of the 1990s. It doesn’t sit neatly in any one box: Buckley threads rock, jazz, folk, and a touch of Western classical drama into a sound that feels intensely intimate yet almost cathedral-sized.

What makes “Grace” so compelling is the way Buckley uses his voice less like a frontman and more like an instrument in its own right. He swoops from a fragile whisper to an operatic cry, turning songs like the title track and “Lover, You Should’ve Come Over” into emotional epics without ever feeling showy. His now-iconic interpretation of “Hallelujah” has become a reference point for an entire generation of singers, yet on the album it sits naturally among his originals rather than overshadowing them.

Owning “Grace” on CD means having the space to live inside its details: the reverb-drenched guitar tones, the restless rhythmic shifts, the way silence is used as carefully as sound. This is a record for listeners who crave depth and vulnerability—an essential document of an artist whose promise still feels startlingly alive.
