Laila Majnu - Madan Mohan Used Vinyl LP Record

This original 1976 His Master’s Voice pressing of Madan Mohan’s Laila Majnu feels like opening a shoebox of old letters—faded at the edges, still loud with feeling. The vinyl sits in Very Good Minus condition: light scuffs you’d expect from a well-loved LP, but nothing that spoils those sweeping strings and aching melodies. The cover, also Very Good Minus, has gentle shelf wear and a bit of softening at the corners, adding to that honest, lived-in charm.

Madan Mohan’s arrangements on this 2×LP set are pure mid‑70s Bollywood gold—lush, melodic, and unapologetically emotional. It’s the kind of record that turns a quiet evening into a full‑blown film scene, even if the TV’s off. If you’ve been hunting for a classic Hindi soundtrack that still feels personal and collectible, this one belongs on your shelf, not just on a playlist.
