Lenny Kravitz – Are You Gonna Go My Way - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

“Are You Gonna Go My Way” is Lenny Kravitz at his most electrifying—an album that distills ‘70s rock spirit into a sharp, early-‘90s statement. Spinning this on vinyl, you immediately feel the bite of the opening title track: a fuzzed-out guitar riff, a stomping groove, and Kravitz preaching like a rock ‘n’ roll revivalist. It’s the kind of song that defined an era and still sounds urgent.

But the record isn’t just about volume. Kravitz threads funk, soul, and a touch of psychedelia through the tracklist, nodding to Hendrix, Lennon, and Sly Stone without ever sounding like simple nostalgia. Songs like “Believe” and “Heaven Help” reveal his melodic instincts and spiritual streak, while the deeper cuts showcase a tight band locked into warm, live-sounding arrangements that really bloom on wax.

Culturally, this album cemented Kravitz as a bridge between classic rock heritage and a new generation, bringing Black rock lineage back into the mainstream spotlight. For collectors, it’s a cornerstone ‘90s rock LP: hook-packed, politically and spiritually aware, and produced with the kind of analog grit that makes a turntable the only proper way to hear it.
