Live At Copenhagen Jazz House - Stanley Cowell Trio - Audio CD - Pre Owned CDs (Arrives in 14days)

Captured in the intimate setting of the Copenhagen Jazz House, this live recording finds the Stanley Cowell Trio weaving together bold improvisation and lyrical interplay. Stanley Cowell, a visionary pianist whose career has bridged the avant-garde and post-bop traditions, leads his trio through a performance that feels both spontaneous and deeply considered. The setlist is a journey through Cowell’s own compositions and carefully chosen standards, each piece reimagined with graceful risk-taking and a palpable sense of discovery.

What sets this album apart is the trio’s conversational approach—each musician listens acutely, responding with subtlety or sudden bursts of energy as the moment demands. Cowell’s touch is both percussive and tender, drawing from the full history of jazz piano while also pushing its boundaries. The recording’s live ambiance brings you right into the heart of the venue, where the audience’s rapt attention and the trio’s creative spark become inseparable.

For collectors and jazz devotees, 'Live At Copenhagen Jazz House' is more than a document—it’s an invitation to witness a master at work, balancing tradition and innovation with every note. An essential listen for those who treasure the art of live jazz.
