Ma - Rare Earth Used Vinyl LP Record

Rare Earth’s 1973 album “Ma” is that gritty Motown cousin who shows up with fuzz guitars, long jams, and a bassline that refuses to sit still. Pressed on Tamla Motown, this LP leans into rock and soul with a looseness you just don’t hear on neat, modern reissues. The record is in Very Good Minus condition: a few light marks and some surface noise in the quiet bits, but the band’s punchy rhythm section and raw vocals still come through strong. The cover is also Very Good Minus, with honest shelf wear that feels more “tour stories” than “attic damage” — solid spine, lived‑in edges, and classic ’70s artwork that still looks great on display. If you’re building a Motown collection that goes beyond the obvious hits, this is one of those slightly off-center titles that says you really listen. Spin it loud, let the long title track stretch out across the room, and enjoy that slightly worn, club-after-midnight sound only old vinyl knows how to give.
