Mad Love - Linda Ronstadt - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

With 'Mad Love,' Linda Ronstadt breaks away from her country-rock roots and dives headfirst into the vibrant currents of late-'70s and early-'80s New Wave and rock. This 1980 release finds Ronstadt reimagining herself, collaborating with members of Elvis Costello’s band and paying homage to songwriters like Elvis Costello and The Cretones. The result is an album that pulses with urgency and electric energy—her voice, still lush and commanding, takes on a new edge against sharp guitars and synth-driven backdrops. Tracks like 'How Do I Make You' and 'Hurt So Bad' showcase her versatility while capturing the restless spirit of the era. 'Mad Love' is a bold statement from an artist unafraid to evolve, making it not only a standout in Ronstadt’s discography but also a vivid snapshot of rock’s shifting landscape at the dawn of a new decade. For collectors and fans of fearless reinvention, this album is a must—proof that true artistry means never standing still.
