My Own Prison - Creed Used Audio Cassette

This is Creed’s breakout album the way it first hit so many of us: on a worn-in Sony Music cassette that begs for a cheap boombox and a quiet room. The tape itself plays strong in Very Good condition—vocals push through with that slightly raw, compressed edge only tape gives. The cover, though, has seen life and then some: graded Poor, creased and battered like a flyer rescued from a teenage bedroom wall. That contrast is half the charm. Every rewind of “My Own Prison” and “Torn” feels like thumbing back through a ‘97 notebook, margin doodles and all. If you missed this era the first time, this is a shortcut straight to late‑night radio and frayed headphone cords. If you were there, you already know why this belongs back in your deck.
