Oliver! (An Original Soundtrack Recording) - Lionel Bart Used Vinyl LP Record

This Colgems 1970 pressing of Lionel Bart’s Oliver! (An Original Soundtrack Recording) feels like opening-night jitters bottled in grooves. The orchestra swells, the kids’ chorus shuffles in slightly off-mic, and suddenly your room turns into a West End back alley. The vinyl is in Very Good Minus shape: expect some light surface noise in the quiet parts, but the musical numbers still leap out boldly. The cover, also Very Good Minus, shows gentle shelf wear that actually suits a story about scrappy orphans and worn-out pockets. Spin it for “Consider Yourself” and you’ll catch those layered vocals and brassy blasts that streaming versions tend to flatten. It’s the kind of soundtrack that makes you hum along halfway through side one, whether you meant to or not. If your shelf leans toward classic film musicals and character-packed scores, this one fits right between your cast albums and vintage Hollywood soundtracks. Buy Oliver!
