Party All The Time - Eddie Murphy - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Eddie Murphy’s 'Party All The Time' stands as one of the most fascinating crossovers in pop music history. Released in 1985, this album is a testament to the era's spirit, where boundaries between comedy, celebrity, and music blurred in unexpected ways. Produced by Rick James, the title track brims with synth-heavy hooks, infectious basslines, and Murphy’s earnest vocal performance, capturing the glossy exuberance of mid-’80s pop. What makes this album culturally significant isn’t just its chart success, but its emblematic snapshot of a period when even Hollywood’s brightest dared to experiment with sound. The collaboration between Murphy and James results in a sound that’s both playful and surprisingly polished, offering a glimpse into the era’s studio magic. For collectors and enthusiasts of '80s vinyl, this album is an essential addition—not merely as a novelty, but as a bold, joy-infused artifact that bridges comedy, celebrity, and dance music. Spin it and you’re instantly transported to neon-lit dance floors and a time when pop music was unafraid to be both fun and flamboyant.
