Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. - The Monkees Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1967 Colgems pressing of The Monkees’ “Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd.” lands right in that sweet spot between radio-ready hooks and studio experimentation. The Very Good Minus vinyl still plays with that warm, slightly hazy glow you only get from a well-loved ‘60s LP—light surface noise in the quiet bits, punchy and fun once the band kicks in. The Very Good Minus cover shows honest shelf wear, but the artwork still pops, like it’s waiting to be filed between your Byrds and Beach Boys records.

“Pleasant Valley Sunday,” “Words,” and “What Am I Doing Hangin’ ’Round?” still hit like a lazy summer afternoon coming through a dusty window. This isn’t a museum piece; it’s a time-travel machine you can actually spin. If you want your shelf to say you know the deeper side of The Monkees beyond the TV show, this is the one.
