Also listed as: Zelmani, Sophie.View all Sophie Zelmani recordsFollowing the success of her debut album, Sophie Zelmani recorded the follow-up, Precious Burden. Her distinctive dreamy folk sound and soft vocals are still present, but the album has a darker feel than its predecessor. While her debut felt like spring, Precious Burden feels like the start of autumn, when the sun is still shining behind the clouds.
With this album, Zelmani showed that her debut was not a one-trick pony, but the start of a beautiful career with many more high-quality albums to come.
Precious Burden is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on green coloured vinyl and includes an insert.
