Ravi Shankar 70 Vol. 2 - Ravi Shankar Used Audio Cassette

Ravi Shankar in his seventies still plays like time is a rumor. This 1990 His Master’s Voice cassette catches him in that late-era glow: phrases stretch unhurried, tanpura hums like a soft lamp in the corner, and the sitar lines feel carved rather than played. The tape itself is in Very Good Minus recordCondition, with a touch of vintage hiss that actually flatters the raga textures instead of fighting them. The sleeve is also Very Good Minus coverCondition, with light handling wear that reminds you this hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse—it’s lived on a real shelf. If you’ve only heard him on glossy reissues, this is a more intimate window into his sound, closer to how a home listener in 1990 would have heard these performances. It’s the kind of cassette you queue up late at night and just let Side A roll into Side B. Buy Ravi Shankar 70 Vol. 2 cassette in Very Good Minus condition Today!
